How to Make Caprese Skewers

One of the easiest party appetizers that you can make are Caprese skewers. This is a traditional and SIMPLE idea that you probably have had yourself at a get-together. I also have a strawberry Caprese skewers version if you want to try that too!

How to Make Caprese Skewers

To get started, you will need small skewers, fresh grape tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and basil leaves. Don’t forget the balsamic vinegar and olive oil!

Use a skewer and thread a grape tomato followed by a basil leaf and a mozzarella ball. Repeat on each skewer until you have about 16 (the perfect serving amount for a small party!).

Prepare a homemade balsamic vinegar glaze in a medium saucepan on medium-high heat. Add a cup of vinegar and simmer while stirring frequently. When the vinegar has thickened (and about 1/3 of the original volume remains), it is ready.

Remove from heat and drizzle lightly on each skewer. You can also add a splash of olive oil as well. Serve immediately and enjoy!
